In my eyes they're focusing on non-vital, poorly fleshed out characters when there are multi-faceted ones waiting in the wings!Īs I get older I'm also finding it harder to believe just how famous these people are meant to be, and how desperately they require all this security.

With CLU I think the book would have been much better focusing on Charlie as opposed to him being a plot device for the couple to actually be together. My personal feelings are that they keep writing about characters I'm not overly interested in and using the ones I genuinely like (Charlie and Beckett Cobalt mainly) as background fodder that keep people interested but without giving them their own books to shine in. I just finished Charming Like Us (Like Us #7) and I think I might finally be done. I've been following these authors for years now, I started when the Addicted series wasn't yet finished and have somehow carried on and read all spin offs, series and new releases since.
